National Weighing & Instruments are endorsed by NATA to carry out calibration of balances, masses, pipettes, electrical measuring equipment and centrifuge speed.
We are endorsed by NATA for ‘ISO 17025 General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories’, it is the main standard that all calibration and testing laboratories are accredited to. In Australia, and many other countries a laboratory must hold accreditation for this international standard to be deemed technically competent. Holding a NATA accreditation means that we have a third party auditing us on a regular basis. Regular third-party auditing assists us to improve our Quality Management System and ensures that we continue to adhere to the proper guidelines and procedures. To continue to have NATA endorsement, our testing equipment used to generate certificates must be traceable to National Calibration Standards.
All of our NATA accredited calibration reports will come with a calculated and validated measurement uncertainty. To give you confidence in the values given, all the reports go through a series of checks before being issued to you.

We can also carry out one point monthly, 10 point repeatability and annual performance and calibration checks on balances in accordance with NATA’s User-Checks-and-Maintenance-of-Laboratory-Balances guide.
